Red Dragon Black Yunnan Tea Review

Origin: Yunnan, China

Tasting notes - 1st infusion:

Preparation: 4g or 3tsp per 250ml; temperature of water - 100ºC; brewing - 3 mins

Colour: Translucent bronze

Aroma: Light sweet caramel aroma, tree bark

Taste: Comforting roundness, a lovely combination of the aromas that leave the lasting impression in the mouth.

Tannin: Attractive, soft

Comment: This is the perfect tea for a little self-indulgence and inner peace and pleasure.

2nd infusion: 10 minutes

Colour: Darker rich bronze

Aroma: More pronounced woodiness, damp forest. A touch of brandy sweetness.

Taste: Woody, sweet character combines with a bitter more extracted tannin.

Comment: The second infusion for 10 minutes was much more full-bodied, pronounced flavour and tannic grip. This is the closer - satiety attained.
